I know spring is here because the weekends are filling up with fun events! There’s no excuse to stay in all weekend with all these different events. Are you a Kacey Musgrave or Robyn fan? Get your dancing in now, before they’re eclipsed by the new Taylor Swift album next week.

Events for Friday, April 12

The Bush : Ru Paul’s Drag Race Watch Party, 8 PM

Brooklyn Comedy Collective: Queer Window, LGBTQIA+ sketch comedy, 7 PM, $15 »

I’m biased towards this because one of my good friends is on the team, but highly recommend checking this out if you want underground, queer sketch comedy served to you in a basement (the best place to receive comedy)

Events for Sunday, April 14

The Bush : Bingo, sponsored by Dyke Beer, doors 4 PM, starts 4:30 PM
Queer Figure Drawing , all materials included, 5:30–7 PM, $20

I love Queer Figure Drawing at the Bush! It’s beginner friendly, but as someone with experience, I also found it to be a useful refresher. Plus, I met two of my good friends at one last year!

Cubbyhole : Sunday Tea Dance, tea will not be served it will be spilled, 4–8 PM

C’mon Everybody : The Gay Ole Opry - a Kacey Musgraves party, a Kacey Musgraves drag show, 8 PM, $12+ »

Branded Saloon : Drag Drunch, seating at 2 PM, show at 2:30 PM

Nickys Unisex : Sungays, 7 PM to late

The Holler : Shrek Interactive Movie Night, a drink-a-long movie viewing, 8 PM
