Queer Events for the Week of April 1–4
No April Fools here.

Queer History Walking Tours
This weekend I went on a Queer History Walking Tour of the Lower East Side, given by the Close Friends Collective. It starts at the Henry Street Settlement, where we learned about founder Lillian Wald’s messy but very productive relationships with her fellow nurses. The tour also visited the former location of Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson’s STAR House. The next one is April 14. If you like walking tours and gay shit (I know you do), grab your tickets here.
